About Us

'Voir Art' de Fletcher is a domestic urban contemporary art gallery. Voir Art is an amalgamation of the arts with music and new media enthusiasts whose mission is to connect like-minded creative individuals, encouraging collaboration and strengthening the culture and community in Indianapolis.

Founded by former graffiti artists, J. Chin and Andrew Severns, Voir Art has stormed into the art scene in 2011, maintaining fresh shows on 1st Fridays, each month offering an exciting new theme and selection of artwork.

In June of 2011 Voir moved to its new home a gallery space of Served Cafe Bisto which is the current home base of the travelling gallery.

J. Chin

J. Chin, a decedent of Jamaica and China, was born in Long Beach California and raised in San Diego where he graduated in business.  J. Chin has been painting since childhood, and has been heavily involved in skating, DJing, MCing radio shows and soccer.  He enjoys creating urban contemporary art, and continuing the movement in Indianapolis’ arts and culture.

Andrew Severns

Andrew Severns, native of Indianapolis, has always been passionate about the arts, exploring many avenues from a non-academic standpoint.  By day, he focuses on graphic design and web development for his firm, AS Design (http://asdesign.co).  In his spare time he can be found putting together community events, organizing youth programs or painting murals for his other company, Murals.tv (http://murals.tv)
